Mixing and Pumping Group

Mixing and Pumping Group

The system foresees suction of the product via the PVC draft pump with check valve.
The product is kept in motion by the mixer at a reduced velocity (40 rpm) to avoid the product’s emulsion with air and keeps it from drying, as the product is in stored in a closed ambient.
Subsequently the product goes through a diaphragm pump, powered by compressed air (model without anti-stall valve) to then reach the INOX filter. (no need for substitution).
Once the product has been filtered it is then sent to the 2 pneumatic pressure regulators and successively moved to the guns.
The kit’s particularity is that it’s assembled on a reinforced barrel lid (std 200lt.) Furthermore the two exits can be closed independently with the 2 INOX taps.
The unit does not need regular maintenance due to the materials it is made with (INOX, 316, oxidized aluminium and PVC. It has few gaskets and some “OR” are in VITON.
The filter unit is assembled with a tap for eventual products recycle cycle and the filter cartridge, which only needs washing and does not need replacements, as it is INOX.

Installation Instructions for Pump Mixer Agitator Kit (Set Group)

Kit Components:
1 Pump Mixer Kit
1 Draft (Propeller Draught      Suction)
1 Mixer Shaft (mast axel) with block key, screws and tab washer
2 Mixer blades (paddles) with nut and washer
1 Draft junction tube > Pump with 2 hose clamps

Optional Accessories:
1 Product finish luminous signal indicator
1 Eyebolt set for hoisting lifting

Assembly:

  1. Assemble the blades on the mixer shaft so that both blades are orientated as in fig. 1 (see pdf).
  2. Slide the mixer shaft from below until it is fixed in its base (seiger), insert the key and block with the screw and tab washer.
  3. Insert the Draft at the base of the kit (from top to bottom) and fasten the draft junction tube supplied with hose clamps (draft>pump).
  4. Connect the mixer motor as per norm (the motor is a 220V/380V).
  5. Bring a line of compressed air to the pump and connect it to quick-release attachment with 6mm tube.
  6. Fasten the Pump Mixer Kit to the mastic bin can.

Functioning:

  1. Open slowly the pressure regulator situated at the base of the pump and bring it to 0.3 bar.
  2. Open slowly the drainage tap situated on the filter until it is fully filled (be careful the pressure squirts!!).
  3. Open the line tap which one intends to function (spherical valve in INOX with plastic handle.)
  4. Open slowly the product pressure regulator until you obtain the desired pressure indicated on the product pressure gauge (diam. 63mm INOX in glycerol) (max 2.2 bar per RMO7 gun).

Fine Tuning Tweak:

  1. Regulate the air pressure pump until you get a fixed reading end fix the glycerol gauge.
  2. We remind you for a proper functioning the pressure of the mastic for the RM07 gun MUST NOT pass 2.5 bar (2.0/2,2 bar, optimal).
  3. If the quantity of mastic does not to be sufficient you should change the size of the nuzzle hole.
